Iesu, “fecisti nos ad te, et inquietum est cor nostrum, donec requiescat in te”. 44 Et licet omni homini qui ad Te veniat in hoc mundo benedictiones superabundantes et inmeritas essendi et vivendi et creatae experiendi, quae ex nihilo Santissima Trinitas Patris et Tui et Spiritus Tui sancti creavit, omnia Tua dona cum Tui munus coronasti, ut omnis singuli nostrorum limitatorum creatorum peccatricum, per donum fidei in Te iustificatus et lustratus in Baptisma et a Patre Tui aeterno adoptatus esset sicut frater gratiae et electionis; istud donum cum munere Tui in Beatissimo Sacramento coronasti, ubi Tu es vere realiter substantialiter et mystice praesens in vero reali et unico Tui Corpore et Sanguini, Anima et Divnitate, ad essendum “nobiscum omnes dies usque ad finem saeculorum” 45 et nobis Cibus Vitae pro via nostra in hoc mundo, ut ad Te provenerimus et Cenae caelestis partecipi essemus, quae Visio Beatifica Dei est in mansionibus Patris Tui, in caelo empyreo.
Tu peccata nostra demittis, 46 quando paenitet nos humiles et dolentes ea facisse eaque sacerdotibus in Sacramento Paenitentiae “confitemur”, 47 et quando hoc facere non poterit, Tibi in quocumque tempore et loco. Tu ut dotem nobis “Donum Spiritus Sancti Tui” 48 in Sacramento Chrismae, quando tui ministri nos cum tuo sacro olio chrismae unguunt. 49 Tu nos in sancto Matrimonio conjugis quando vota sponsalia emittimus coram ministros tuos designatos. 50 Tu viros ut Episcopos ac Sacerdotes et ministros sacros elegis et designas et unguis, 51 ut mediante eis omnibus diebus fruimur consolatione ministerii Tui ut Pastori, Magisri et Sacerdotis. Et in fine, Tu nobis pacem et fortitudinem et benedictionem donas ad transferendos nos ex infirmitate et aegritudine versus salutem et salvationem, “nunc et in ora mortis nostrae”. 52
Rex noster, nobis mandavit pro nostri bono et securitate, dicens Simon bar Johna: “Tu es Petrus, et super hanc petram aedificabo Ecclesiam meam, et portae inferi non praevalebunt adversus eam.” 53 “tibi dabo claves regni caelorum. Et quodcumque ligaveris super terram, erit ligatum et in caelis: et quodcumque solveris super terram, erit solutum et in caelis.” 54 “Qui vos audit, me audit: et qui vos spernit, me spernit. Ex beneficio et misericordiae Tui largitatis donorum istorum omnium, “in Te credimus, Te adoramus, in Te speramus et Te exspectamus”, 58 Tibe nostram dilectionem aeternam interponimus.
Salva nos, Domine! Ausculta preces 59 Tui fidelium! Ex manibus inimicorum libera nos,60 ex peccatis, ex vitiis, et ex daemonibus carnis et spiritus “qui ad perditionem animarum nostrarum pervagantur in isto mundo”. 61

Sulla Fede in Gesù Cristo
A tutti i fedeli del mondo che hanno piena e sincera fede nel Signore Gesù Cristo: saluto e benedizione apostolica:
«Gesù Cristo», 1 Tu sei «Alfa e Omega», 2 «Il Principio», «per mezzo del quale tutte le cose» sono state create, 3 «ed il Fine», 4 per la quale tutte le cose esistono. 5 Tu sei il vero «Dio d’Israele» 6 e l’unico Messia e Salvatore 7 del genere umano promesso da Dio. 8 Tu sei «El Shaddai». 9 Tu sei «Il Dio di Abramo, Isacco e Giacobbe». 10 Tu sei «Il Signore di Sabaoth», 11 «Yahweh», 12 quel grande “Io sono”, «l’unico e vero Dio»; 13 «L’Onnipotente», 14 «il Creatore», 15 «Il Misericordioso», 16 «il Salvatore», 17 «il Redentore» potente su tutti, 18 «L’Unigenito», 19 «Figlio del Dio vivente» 20 l’eterno Padre. Tu sei «Dio degli dèi» e «Signore delle signori», 21 «il Re del cielo e della terra», 22 e di tutti quelli che sono sotto la terra: «davanti a Te tutte le nazioni si inginocchieranno», 23 ogni capo si inchinerà e «ogni lingua confesserà» che Tu sei «Signore», 24 e «Santo», 25 «a gloria di Dio Padre», 26 nello Spirito Santo, Dio nei secoli dei secoli.
Gesù Cristo, Tu sei il vero e primogenito Figlio della beata sempre «Vergine», 27 «Maria», «di Nazaret, città della Galilea», promessa sposa di «Giuseppe, figlio di Davide», 28 re d’Israele, al quale Dio aveva promesso per mezzo di Natan che il suo trono sarebbe rimasto per sempre 29 davanti a Dio, per sempre come il sole. Tu sei il vero Signore dei tempi e l’unico vero Monarca di Gerusalemme, la città santa, per discendenza dal padre secondo la carne, san Davide. 30
Gesù Cristo, Tu sei l’autore e il perfezionatore della nostra fede, 31 fondatore, creatore e capo della Chiesa cattolica, 32 suo unico e Supremo Pontefice, 33 che Ti sei offerto 34 sull’altare 35 della croce, accettando la più ingiusta condanna a morte inflittati dal procuratore romano Ponzio Pilato, 36 su istigazione dei pontefici e degli scribi di Gerusalemme. 37 Con questo atto, in obbedienza a Dio Padre, hai “ricattato” il genere umano, 38 dalla maledizione del peccato e della morte, 39 e ha meritato di aprire le porte della salvezza 40 a tutti coloro che credono in Te e vengono a Te con obbedienza e amore, dimostrandolo con la Tua gloriosa Risurrezione dai morti, 41 con la quale hai inaugurato una nuova era di salvezza e ha dato la speranza della vita eterna a tutti coloro che credono in Te. Infatti «non vi è sotto il cielo altro nome mediante il quale gli uomini devono essere salvati», 42 così come non vi è altra speranza da parte di Dio, passata, presente e futura, per la salvezza eterna di ogni uomo, se non in Te, per mezzo di Te e grazie alla Tua dottrina e al Tuo insegnamento, poiché Tu sei «la Via, la Verità e la Vita», al di fuori del Quale «nessuno viene al Padre»; anzi, «conoscere Te è la radice di ogni immortalità».43
Gesù, “ci hai creati per Te stesso e il nostro cuore è inquieto finché non riposa in Te”. 44 E benché Tu hai dato ad ogni uomo che viene in questo mondo di sperimentare la sovrabbondanza di benedizioni e l’immeritazione dell’essere, del vivere e del Creato, che la Santissima Trinità del Padre, Tu e il Tuo Santo Spirito avete creato dal nulla, Tu hai coronato tutti i Tuoi doni con il dono di Te stesso, affinché ciascuno di noi, creature limitate e peccatrici, per il dono della Fede in Te potesse essere giustificato e purificato nel Battesimo, e adottato dal Tuo Padre Eterno — in Te — come fratello per grazia ed elezione.; Tu hai coronato questo dono con il Tuo dono nel Santissimo Sacramento, dove Tu sei veramente, realmente, sostanzialmente e misticamente presente nel Tuo vero, reale e unico Corpo e Sangue, Anima e Divinità, per essere «con noi tutti i giorni fino alla fine dei tempi» 45 e per noi il Cibo della Vita per il nostro cammino in questo mondo, affinché possiamo venire a Te e partecipare alla Cena celeste, che è la Beatifica Visione di Dio nelle dimore del Tuo Padre nel cielo empireo.
Tu perdoni i nostri peccati, 46 quando ci pentiamo umilmente e con dolore di averli commessi e li “confessiamo” ai sacerdoti nel Sacramento della Penitenza, 47 e quando non possiamo farlo, a Te in qualsiasi momento e luogo. Tu ci doni il “Dono del Tuo Santo Spirito” 48 nel Sacramento del Crisma, quando i Tuoi ministri ci ungono con il Tuo santo olio di crisma. 49 Tu, ci unite come sposi nel santo Matrimonio quando pronunciamo le nostre promesse nuziali davanti ai Tuoi ministri designati. 50 Tu scegli, designi e ungi gli uomini come Vescovi, Sacerdoti e ministri sacri, 51 affinché per mezzo loro possiamo godere ogni giorno della consolazione del Tuo ministero di Pastore, Maestro e Sacerdote. E infine, ci concedi pace, forza e benedizione per muoverci dalla debolezza e dalla malattia verso la salute e la salvezza, “adesso e nell’ora della nostra morte”. 52
Il nostro Re ci ha istruito, per il nostro bene e la nostra sicurezza, dicendo a Simone, figlio di Giovanni: «Tu sei Pietro e su questa pietra edificherò la mia Chiesa e le porte dell’inferno non prevarranno contro di essa». 53 «Ti darò le chiavi del regno dei cieli: tutto ciò che legherai sulla terra sarà legato anche nei cieli, e tutto ciò che scioglierai sulla terra sarà sciolto anche nei cieli». 54 «Chi ascolta voi, ascolta me; chi rifiuta voi, rifiuta me; ma chi rifiuta me, rifiuta colui che mi ha mandato». 55 Parole che rimangono sempre valide per il magistero di San Pietro e per i suoi successori, legittimamente e validamente eletti. Parole che non si riferiscono in alcun modo agli antipapi e ai vescovi illecitamente consacrati, che «di notte come un ladro», 56 entrano nell’ovile, ma non per la porta. 57
Per la grazia e la misericordia della Tua generosità di tutti questi doni, «in Te crediamo, in Te adoriamo, in Te speriamo e aspettiamo», 58 Ti offriamo il nostro amore eterno.
Salvaci, Signore! Ascolta le preghiere 59 dei Tuoi fedeli! Liberaci dalle mani dei nostri nemici, 60 dai peccati, dai vizi e dai demoni della carne e dello spirito “che si aggirano per questo mondo per la perdizione delle nostre anime”. 61
«Manda» 62 i Tuoi angeli 63 dall’alto, 64 che hai creato per custodire la Tua eredità 65 e per assistere il Tuo Santo Spirito nel convincere «gli uomini del peccato, della giustizia e del giudizio». 66 Accoglici nuovamente, noi che ritorniamo a Te; e concedi a noi, che Ti siamo fedeli — in questi giorni in cui commemoriamo il duemillesimo anno della Tua Opera Redentrice per la nostra salvezza — la grazia e l’opportunità di rimanere fedeli; a coloro che hanno cessato di esserlo, di ritornare alla fedeltà; e a tutti coloro che non sono ancora divenuti Tuoi, d’ascoltare la Tua chiamata alla fedeltà e di venire a Te.

Il Santo Padre ha voluto che questa Preghiera di preparazione al 2000° anniversario della Redenzione del mondo — che sarà celebrato dalla Vigilia del Battesimo del Signore del 2030 d.C. fino al termine dell’Ottava di Pentecoste del 2033 d.C. — fosse condivisa con tutti e ciascuno dei fedeli, per incoraggiarli nella fede e nella perseveranza in questa, la più grande prova della Santa Madre Chiesa.

“Jesus Christ“, 1 Thou art “the Alpha and Omega“, 2 “the Beginning” “through Whom all things” were made 3 “and the End” 4 for which all things exist. 5 Thou art the true “God of Israel” 6 and the only Messiah and Savior 7 promised by God to mankind. 8 Thou art “El Shaddai“. 9 Thou art “the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob”. 10 Thou art “the Lord of Hosts“, 11 “Yahweh“, 12 the great ‘I AM’, “the only and true God”. 13 “The Omnipotent” 14 “Creator”, 15 the “Merciful” 16 “Savior“, 17 the all powerful “Redeemer,” 18 “the only Begotten” 19 “Son of the Living God“, 20 the Eternal Father. For “there is no other Name under Heaven by which men are to be saved“, 42 just as there is no other hope offered by God, in past, present or future, for the eternal salvation of any man but in Thee and through Thee and on account of Thy Teaching and Magisterium, since Thou art “the Way, the Truth, and the Life,” apart from Whom “no one comes to the Father“; indeed, “to know Thee is the root of all immortality“.43
Jesus, “Thou hast made us for Thyself and our hearts are restless until the rest in Thee”. 44 And though Thou hast given to every man who comes into this world the superabundant and unmerited blessings of existence and life and experience of the Creation which the Most Holy Trinity of Thy Father and Thyself and Thy Holy Spirit created out of nothing, Thou crowned all Thy gifts with the gift of Thyself, so that each of us, limited and sinful creatures, might by the gift of Faith in Thee be justified and cleansed in Baptism and adopted by Thy Eternal Father, in Thee, as a brother by grace and election; Thou hast crowned this gift with the Gift of Thyself in the Most Blessed Sacrament, where Thou art truly, really, substantially and mystically present in Thy real true and sole Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity, to be “with us all days until the end of the ages” 45 and to be for us the Food of Life for our way in this world, so that we might come unto Thee and partake of the Heavenly Banquet which is the Beatifying Vision of God in the Mansions of Thy Father, in the Empyrean Heaven.
Thou dost forgive us our sins, 46 when we humbly and sorrowfully repent of and “confess” them to Thy Priests in the Sacrament of Penance, 47 and when this cannot be had, to Thyself, at any time and place. Thou dost endow us with “the Gift of Thy Holy Spirit” 48 in the Sacrament of Confirmation, when Thy ministers 49 anoint us with Thy sacred chrism. Thou dost join us in Holy Matrimony when we take vows of marriage before Thy appointed ministers. 50 Thou dost elect and appoint and anoint men as Thy Bishops and Priests and sacred ministers, 51 so that through them we might enjoy all days the consolation of Thy Ministry as Shepherd, Teacher and Priest. And finally, Thou grants us the peace and strength and blessing to pass from infirmity and sickness to health and salvation, “now and at the hour of our death“. 52
As our King, Thou hast commanded us for our own good and safety, saying to Simon bar Jonah: “Thou art Rock and upon this Rock I will build My Church, and the gates of the netherworld will never overcome her“. 53 “To thee I give the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, whatsoever thy dost bind, shall be bound also in heaven; and whatsoever thou dost loose, shall be loosed also in Heaven“; 54 “He that heareth you, heareth Me; and he that despiseth you, despiseth Me; and he that despiseth Me, despiseth Him Who sent Me“! 55 Words which remain forever valid regarding the magisterium of Saint Peter and His legitimately and validly elected successors. Words which in no way apply to those antipopes and illicitly consecrated Bishops, who “like a thief in the night“, 56 enter into the sheepfold, but not through the gate. 57
From the benefit and mercy of all these gifts of Thy largess, “we believe in Thee, we adore Thee, we hope in and await Thee”, 58 and we pledge our eternal love to Thee.
Save us, oh Lord! Hearken to the prayers 59 of Thy faithful! Deliver us from our enemies, 60 from our sins, from our vices, and from the demons of flesh and spirit “who wander about through this world for the perdition of our souls”. 61
“Send forth” 62 Thy Angels 63 “from on high“, 64 whom Thou hast created to protect “Thy inheritance” 65 and to assist Thy Holy Spirit in convicting “this world of sin, of righteousness and of judgement“. 66 Receive us back who turn back to Thee, and grant us, who be faithful, the graces and opportunity in these days in which we commemorate the 2000th year of Thy Redemptive Work of our Salvation to remain faithful; for those who have fallen from being faithful, to return to being faithful; and for all those who have not yet previously been Thine own, to hear Thy call to be faithful and come to Thee.
Through “the merits of Thy Sacred Passion” 67 and Death and by the merits of Thy Immaculate and Ever-Virgin Mother, our Corredemptrix, 68 whom Thou gave us as our Mother on Thy Cross, 69 and those of all the Saints, in Thy Sacred Name, we pray. Amen. Amen. 70 Let it be. 71 Deus Vult! 72

À tous les fidèles chrétiens du monde entier, qui avez une foi pleine et sincère en Jésus-Christ notre Seigneur : santé et bénédiction apostolique:
« Jésus-Christ », >1 Tu es « l’Alpha et l’Oméga », 2 « le Commencement », « par qui toutes choses » ont été faites, 3 « et la Fin », 4 pour qui toutes choses existent. 5 Tu es le vrai « Dieu d’Israël », 6 et le seul Messie et Sauveur, 7 promis par Dieu à l’humanité. 8 Tu es « El Shaddai ». 9 Tu es « le Dieu d’Abraham, d’Isaac et de Jacob ». 10 Tu es « le Seigneur des armées », 11 « Yahvé », 12 le grand « JE SUIS », « le seul et vrai Dieu ». 13 « L’Omnipotent », 14 « Créateur », 15 le « Miséricordieux », 16 « Sauveur », 17 le Tout-puissant « Rédempteur », 18 « le Fils unique », 19 « Fils du Dieu vivant », 20 le Père éternel. Jésus-Christ, Tu es le véritable et premier-né de la Bienheureuse et Toujours Vierge 27 «Marie», 27 «de Nazareth, une ville de Galilée», «fiancée à Joseph», 28 fils de David, roi d’Israël, à qui Dieu a promis par l’intermédiaire du prophète Nathan que son trône subsisterait éternellement, 29 comme le soleil, auprès de Dieu. Tu es le véritable Seigneur du Temps et le seul véritable Monarque de Jérusalem, la Ville Sainte, fondée par ton Père selon la chair, saint David. 30
Jésus-Christ, tu es « l’Auteur et le Perfectionneur de notre Foi », 31 le Fondateur, le Créateur et le « Chef » de l’« Église catholique » : 32 son unique et suprême « Souverain Prêtre », 33 qui t’es offert toi-même 34 « sur l’Autel » 35 de la Croix, en acceptant une sentence de mort des plus injustes, prononcée contre toi par le Procurateur romain, Ponce Pilate, 36 à l’instigation des grands prêtres et des scribes de Jérusalem. 37 Par cet acte d’obéissance à Dieu ton Père, tu as racheté l’homme 38 de la malédiction du péché et de la mort, 39 et tu as mérité d’ouvrir les portes du salut 40 à tous ceux qui croient en toi et viennent à toi avec obéissance et amour, le manifestant par ta glorieuse Résurrection d’entre les morts, 41 par laquelle tu as inauguré l’ère nouvelle du salut et donné l’espérance de la vie éternelle à tous ceux qui croient en toi. Car il n’y a sous le ciel aucun autre Nom par lequel les hommes puissent être sauvés, 42 de même qu’il n’y a d’autre espérance offerte par Dieu, dans le passé, le présent ou l’avenir, pour le salut éternel de quiconque, si ce n’est en Toi, par Toi et à cause de Ton enseignement et de Ton magistère, puisque Tu es le Chemin, la Vérité et la Vie, sans qui nul ne vient au Père ; en vérité, Te connaître est la source de toute immortalité.43
Jésus, « Tu nous as faits pour Toi et nos cœurs sont sans repos tant qu’ils ne reposent pas en Toi ». 44 Et bien que Tu aies donné à chaque homme qui vient en ce monde les bénédictions surabondantes et imméritées de l’existence, de la vie et de l’expérience de la Création que la Très Sainte Trinité de Ton Père, de Toi et de Ton Saint-Esprit a créée à partir de rien, Tu as couronné tous Tes dons par le don de Toi-même, afin que chacun de nous, créatures limitées et pécheresses, puisse par le don de la Foi en Toi être justifié et purifié dans le Baptême et adopté par Ton Père Éternel, en Toi, comme un frère par grâce et par élection ; Tu as couronné ce don par le Don de Toi-même dans le Très Saint Sacrement, où Tu es véritablement, réellement, substantiellement et mystiquement présent dans Ton Corps et Sang réels, véritables et uniques, Âme et Divinité, pour être « avec nous tous les jours jusqu’à la fin des siècles » 45 et pour être pour nous la Nourriture de Vie pour notre chemin dans ce monde, afin que nous puissions venir à Toi et participer au Banquet Céleste qui est la Vision Béatifante de Dieu dans les Demeures de Ton Père, dans le Ciel Empyréen.
Tu nous pardonnes nos péchés, 46 lorsque nous nous en repentons humblement et avec regret et les confessons à tes Prêtres dans le sacrement de la Pénitence, 47 et, lorsque cela est impossible, à Toi seul, en tout temps et en tout lieu. Tu nous accordes le don de Ton Esprit Saint, 48 dans le sacrement de la Confirmation, lorsque Tes Ministres 49 nous oignent de ton saint chrême. Tu nous unis par le saint Mariage lorsque nous prononçons nos vœux devant tes ministres désignés. 50 Tu choisis, nommes et oins des hommes comme Tes Évêques, Tes Prêtres et tes Ministres sacrés, 51 afin que, par eux, nous puissions jouir tous les jours de la consolation de Ton ministère de Pasteur, de Docteur et de Prêtre. Et enfin, Tu nous accordes la paix, la force et la grâce de passer de l’infirmité et de la maladie à la santé et au salut, « maintenant et à l’heure de notre mort ». 52
En tant que notre Roi, Tu nous as donné ces commandements pour notre bien et notre sécurité, disant à Simon, fils de Jonas : « Tu es le Rocher, et sur ce Rocher Je bâtirai Mon Église, et les portes du séjour des morts ne prévaudront jamais contre elle. » 53 « Je te donne les clés du Royaume des Cieux : ce que tu lieras sera lié dans les cieux, et ce que tu délieras sera délié dans les cieux. » 54 « Celui qui vous écoute m’écoute ; celui qui vous méprise me méprise ; celui qui me méprise méprise celui qui m’a envoyé. » 55 Ces paroles demeurent valables à jamais concernant le magistère de saint Pierre et ses Successeurs légitimement et validement élus. Elles ne s’appliquent en aucun cas aux antipapes et aux Évêques consacrés illicitement qui, « comme un voleur dans la nuit », 56 entrent dans la bergerie sans passer par la porte. 57
Grâce à la grâce et à la miséricorde que Te procurent tous ces dons, « nous croyons en Toi, nous T’adorons, nous espérons en Toi et nous T’attendons », 58 et nous Te promettons notre amour éternel.
Sauve-nous, Seigneur ! Entends les prières 59 de Tes fidèles ! Délivre-nous de nos ennemis, 60 de nos péchés, de nos vices et des démons de chair et d’esprit « qui errent dans ce monde pour la perdition de nos âmes ». 61
« Envoie », 62 Tes Anges 63 « d’en haut », 64 que Tu as créés pour protéger « ton héritage » 65 et pour assister Ton Saint-Esprit afin de convaincre « ce monde de péché, de justice et de jugement ». 66 Accueille-nous, nous qui revenons à Toi, et accorde-nous, à nous qui sommes fidèles, Tes grâces et l’occasion, en ces jours où nous commémorons le 2000ème anniversaire de Ton œuvre rédemptrice de notre salut, de rester fidèles ; pour ceux qui ont dévié de la fidélité, de revenir à la fidélité ; et pour tous ceux qui ne T’ont pas encore appartenu, d’entendre Ton appel à la fidélité et à venir à Toi.
Par « les mérites de Ta Passion sacrée » 67 et de Ta Mort, et par les mérites de Ta Mère Immaculée et toujours Vierge, notre Corédemptrice, 68 que Tu nous as donnée pour Mère sur Ta Croix,69 ainsi que par ceux de tous les Saints, en Ton saint Nom, nous Te prions. Le Saint-Père a voulu que cette Prière de préparation au 2000e anniversaire de la Rédemption du monde — qui sera célébré de la Vigile du Baptême du Seigneur, en l’an 2030, jusqu’à la fin de l’Octave de la Pentecôte, en l’an 2033 — soit partagée avec chacun des fidèles, afin de les encourager dans la foi et la persévérance, en cette épreuve la plus grande de la Sainte Mère l’Église.
